Sharing Groove Templates With Your Team

Collaboration, consistency, and continuous improvement are key to maximizing positive results and making better connections. That’s why Groove allows you to easily collaborate with your team on consistent messaging that your clients respond well to, using shared template folders.

This article covers sharing templates. To learn about creating templates, read this article.

There are a few different ways that shared templates empower you and your team to increase engagement from the folks you are reaching out to:

Share your own templates that are getting high open, reply, and click rates, so that your team can utilize messaging that has been proven successful.

  • Go to Templates.
  • To share a folder, click the 3-dot menu next to the folder you want to share. Then click Share.

Share your folders with individual users, Groove Teams, or your entire organization:

On the right side of the above, enable add/edit access. Use the toggle to enable access for individuals or groups.

Any edits to a shared folder will be visible everyone who has access:

Click Save (bottom right) to save your share updates.

Once the folder is shared, you can then share the URL with your teammates for quick access.

  1. Click into the folder you want to share
  2. Grab the link from your browser
  3. Share it with people you shared the folder with in the above steps:

On each folder, you can also see open, click, and reply rates of templates that have been shared with you:

Create duplicates of shared to customize them to reflect your personal communication style, without affecting the original. Your team can use shared templates directly in Gmail, or within Groove Flow steps.

  1. Click into a template folder you want to duplicate
  2. Open a template
  3. Click Duplicate template at the top:
