Why Aren't My Columns Formatted Properly in My Exported File?
Does your exported file look like this? 😵💫

Whether you opening a file exported from Opportunities, Forecasting, or User Management, you are probably attempting to open the exported file from a non-North American version of Excel.
The reason this is happening is that your data is being exported in Comma Separated Values (.csv) file format—in which columns are separated with a comma. Non-North American versions of Excel, however, use the semicolon to separate data into columns.
How do I fix it?
There are 2 different ways to update your delimiter from the comma to the semicolon.
Option 1:
1: Open your exported file in a text editor (i.e. NotePad or TextEdit).
2: Add a new line at the top of the file and paste the following text: sep=,
3: Save the file, and then open the file using Excel.

Option 2:
1. In Excel, click File
2. Select Import.
3. Select CSV file
4. Click Import
5. Follow the prompts: choose "Delimited"

6. Specify "Comma" as the delimiter

After you follow the steps through Option 1 or Option 2, your columns should display properly.
