Opportunity Export API

Guess what? You can now use CRM Score and other proprietary Clari data outside of Clari! 🥳 Thanks to the Opportunity Export API.

You'll use this API if you wish to use Clari’s CRM Score and any other opportunity data outside of Clari. You can use this API with BI tools, integrations, etc.

 

Feature Description

 

The Opportunity Export API is a new API available on developer.clari.com to anyone who can and wants to call an API. The API allows 3rd parties and customers access to any and all opportunity fields that are configured in their Clari org.
 

The API can return at most 98 opportunities at a time:

 

• This limit is driven by our gateway provider, Kong. If you submit more than 98 opportunities to the API at once, Kong will automatically cut off the list at 98 and return only 98 opportunities. Kong will also throw an error. 🤽‍♀️
   

• Customers and 3rd parties can make up to 5000 API requests per org per day (a limit set for us by our gateway provider, Kong). Each org can make up to 5000 API calls per day, and each API call can accept at most 98 opportunity IDs.

External Dashboards

A manager might request to see Clari data, like the CRM Score, in their BI tool. Your IT team can make that happen by calling the Opportunity Export API to extract the CRM Score data by opportunity:
 

• Opportunities by CRM Score: Highlight opportunities that have a low CRM Score and are at risk. Can support an NDR workflow.
   

Integrations

• You might use workflow apps like Zapier to call the API and make your own tasks/slacks, etc.

• A third-party technology partner might use the Opportunity Export API if they want to build integrations with Clari's CRM Score. For example, a process automation partner may want to automatically create a task in Gainsight when a CRM Score falls beneath a certain threshold.

Can I select specific fields in the export?

No, the API returns the fields that are configured for your org in Field Configuration.
 

What happens if I don’t specify a mode?

By default, the API returns the fields configured in opportunity mode.
 

What format is the opportunity owner sent in? 

The API returns the opportunity userID for each opportunity.
