Forecast Expanded View
Forecast Expanded View gives you the details to judge whether each deal should be included in your forecast in the same view where you can submit your forecast call. You can also group deals and edit CRM fields directly from forecasting, streamlining deal inspection, and deal updates relevant to your forecast.
Navigation
To get to Forecast Expanded View:
From Forecast Module, click "Edit Forecasts" in the top right corner. This opens Expanded View.
Basic Orientation

a. Forecast Grid Fields: In the left-hand panel, fields from the forecast summary grid will display. For a given level in the hierarchy, the left-hand panel will show fields from the traditional forecast summary grid, transposed vertically. When a field is selected, the expanded grid will update based on the related opportunities for that field. Users can update their forecast and notes from the left-hand panel.
b. Total/Open/Closed Opportunities: Filter the Expanded View Grid for only open, only closed, or all opportunities related to the selected field in Forecast. View the hover tips (denoted with the "i" icon) for more background on the information we are showing.
c. Grouping Options: View groups of deals in the expanded grid (same as the horizontal grouping in the Opportunities module).
d. Expanded View Grid: View additional fields for the opportunities related to the selected field in Forecast, and edit the fields by double-clicking on them as you would in Clari's Opportunities Module.
e. Navigate to Opportunities Module: Click “View Deals” in the Expanded View to navigate to the Opportunity Grid for this set of opportunities.
f. Field Cell Highlighting: For opportunity fields that have field history tracking enabled in Salesforce, we are able to show color changes in expanded view mimicking the behavior and experience we have in the opportunities module.
Note: The color changes are fixed (non-configurable) to only show changes from the last 7 days.

Field Configuration
The fields that are displayed in the columns in the Expanded View Grid can be configured independently of the Opportunity Grid. However, there is most likely overlap as there will be key fields that users need to see when they're inspecting their deals in the Opportunity Grid and when they're inspecting deals to make their forecast call.
You can configure the Expanded View Grid for each Clari Mode that is used in Forecast, and we recommend configuring the Grid for each Mode to ensure that the most relevant information is available to support rolling up the forecast. Typically, the Expanded View Grid will include a subset of the fields used in the Opportunity Grid based on their relevance when forecasting.
If the Expanded View Grid is not configured, then Clari will fall back to the fields included in the Opportunity Grid.
NOTE: Make sure that the amount field(s) used in Forecast are available in the Expanded View Grid to support users rolling up the forecast for various forecast fields and tabs.
