Salesloft Connect for Dynamics brings the core Salesloft functionality into your Microsoft Dynamics instance. Run your targeted Cadences, send one-off emails to individual records, use the Dialer to make calls, or view all details on a Person directly in the sidebar.
In this article, you will learn how to set up Connect for Dynamics and explain the features this extension offers, including:
Before you Loft emails, view Salesloft People information, and execute Cadences from your Dynamics account, you need to Download the Salesloft Chrome Extension.
After the extension has been installed, you will gain access to Salesloft features within your Dynamics instance!
Things to Note: You must be logged into SalesLoft in order to see and use the buttons and workflow sidebar in Dynamics.
Once the extension has been downloaded, you may import records from your Dynamics account.
Things to Note: For those familiar with our Connect for Salesforce extension, please note the following differences for Connect for Dynamics imports:
- Imports from reports in Dynamics are not currently supported (list views are supported!)
- Importing related Contacts or Leads directly from an Opportunity or Campaign is not currently supported (this is supported for Accounts!)
The following types of imports can be completed:
- Import individual Leads, Contacts, and Accounts
- Bulk import lists of Leads, Contacts, and Accounts (up to 1,000 records)
- Import Contacts from the Account record
Salesloft’s Dialer lets you call from wherever you work, including your Dynamics instance. With click-to-call, all you have to do is click the Call button next to a Person’s phone number. Once you’ve clicked Call, the Dialer functions exactly like it does in-app.
The Call button can be found next to the phone field on a Dynamics record.
Things to Note: The Call button is not available in listviews.
Once you click-to-call, use the Dialer just like you would within the Salesloft platform. When the call is finished, you can log the call or make a new one by clicking on the reset button at the top of the Dialer.

When composing emails in Connect for Dynamics, you may add CC or BCC recipients by clicking the CC/BCC link in the upper right hand corner of the email compose pane. Enter multiple email addresses in the CC or BCC fields by separating them with a comma.
To send an email from Dynamics, follow these steps:
- Go to the Lead or Contact record.
- Click the Loft It button next to the Person’s email address. The Email Window will appear in the bottom right corner.
- Compose your message. Add templates or snippets by selecting the Insert button in the bottom right corner of the email window.
