Create a MAP from a Template

Overview

Create a new MAP from the Clari Opportunity Insights Panel or from the Align Dashboard.

1. Click on the opportunity you want to create a MAP for and click the Insights Panel on the right side. 





2. In the MAP section, select Create New. 




3. Select a Template at the top.



 

When you create a MAP from Clari, it will automatically sync with your Salesforce opportunity to pull opportunity details and account contact information.

When you create a MAP from the home dashboard, select New MAP or visit https://align.clari.com/plan/create.

Selecting a Template

These steps follow the GIF above.

1. Select a template from the Select a Template drop-down (you can preview the template by clicking on it in the drop-down).
2. Update the Go Live date in the right corner of the MAP.
3. Click Save MAP.

When a MAP is created from an opportunity that has a close date in Clari, Align will default the close date as the Go Live date and update the MAP to work back from that date.
