Projection Range

Overview

Clari's AI Projection Range indicates the best-case and worst-case scenarios based on your best and worst performances over the past 4 quarters.
 

The Maximum and Minimum projections are based on the highest and lowest of your historical conversion rates over the past 4 quarters. In other words, if you perform your very best relative to your historical conversion rates, then you will hit the Maximum, and vice versa with the Minimum.

In the example above, Clari's AI Projection is $41,000,000. However, if we were to perform according to the worst of our conversion rates over the past 4 quarters across the different categories in our pipeline (i.e. Commit, Best Case, and Pipeline if breaking down by Forecast Category), then we would close $39,000,000. This is our Minimum.

The Minimum

In this example, we are using Forecast Category (i.e. Pipeline, Best Case, Commit) as our breakdown field. We can find our lowest historical conversion rates for each Forecast Category in the table in Trend:

In the table above, we can see:

• Our lowest conversion rate for our deals in Commit over the past 4 quarters was 74%.
• Our lowest conversion rate for our deals in Best Case over the last 4 quarters was 34%.
• Finally, our lowest conversion rate for our deals in Pipeline over the last 4 quarters was 8%.

Clari will apply these conversion rates to our current pipeline to calculate our Minimum of $39,000,000.

The Maximum

If we were to perform according to our best conversion rates over the past 4 quarters across the different categories in our pipeline, then we would close $42,3000,000. This is our Maximum.

Again, we are using Forecast Category (i.e. Pipeline, Best Case, Commit) as our breakdown field in this example. We can also find our highest historical conversion rates for each Forecast Category in the table in Trend:
 

In the table above, we can see that:

• Our highest conversion rate for our deals in Commit over the past 4 quarters was 82%.
• Our highest conversion rate for our deals in Best Case over the last 4 quarters was 58%.
• Finally, our lowest conversion rate for our deals in Pipeline over the last 4 quarters was 20%.
