Create a Voice Fingerprint
Creating a voice fingerprint to lets Copilot identify reps distinctly in their calls with customers. This is highly recommended for all recording users and takes about 30 seconds.
This involves reading out a passage of text that allows Copilot to create a voice fingerprint and it is highly recommended that reps use the standard headset they'll be using for their meetings.
Here is how to do it:
When You Sign Up and On-Board
During on-boarding recording users are prompted to give their voice sample by reading a passage of text. The steps are the same as below, just starting at number 3.
Create a Voice Fingerprint Anytime
- Go to Copilot > Preferences
- Click on Set Up Voice Sample (see below). Or, if you set one up before but want to re-record, click Record Again.
- Review the info on how Clari uses this data, then click "Yes, Record my voice."
- Click start and read the paragraph. Hit stop when done.
- Click on the play button to make sure it was recorded correctly and click Submit.

Add a Voice Fingerprint to a Dialer Manually
Some dialers require voice fingerprints to be added manually:
- AIRCALL
- DIALPAD
- RINGCENTRAL
These dialers return audio in a single channel, leaving the work for identifying who spoke when to Copilot. Copilot requires all users who dial using these dialers to submit voice fingerprints so that the systems can determine who spoke when in the call
Adding the voice sample is important when you upload calls into Copilot as well, for Copilot to identify speakers better. Sometimes you may have important customer call recordings that weren't automatically captured by Clari Copilot. In these situations, you can manually upload call recordings to ensure they're available for analysis and review.
