Pulse KPIs
Overview
The Pulse KPIs provide key metrics at a glance, such as:
- Current quarter quota attainment
- Clari's AI projection and gap to quota
- The team's forecast call
- The remaining open pipeline coverage
- Suggested coverage for next quarter compared to current pipeline coverage
The KPIs dynamically adjust based on the filters and level of the hierarchy that you've selected. As such, the behavior of the KPIs matches the data in the Pulse Chart.
In addition to dynamically adjusting based on the filters, scope and settings, the KPIs vary between past quarters, current quarter and next quarter. This is to ensure that you always have the most context relevant data at your disposal. For example, it would not make much sense to show you the projection for last quarter Pulse since the quarter is done, but it does make sense to show you the AI projection accuracy.
Finally, certain KPIs will also adjust based on the pipeline values that you've checked in the table below. For example, the Coverage and Total Pipeline KPIs will only include the stages or forecast categories that are selected. So if you've removed Omitted from your pipeline in the chart, it will also exclude those numbers from the coverage. Additionally, if you've selected a node in the hierarchy (i.e. a region, team, or individual contributor) that has already achieved its Quota, then the Coverage KPI will display "Total Coverage."
Quarterly Pulse KPIs
Current Quarter Pulse KPIs
Quota: The quota pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse.
Closed Won: The total amount closed as won as of the current week in the quarter.
Gap to Quota: The delta between your Quota and Closed Won amounts.
AI Projection: Clari's AI Projection as of the current week in the quarter.
1 Wk Change: The amount that Clari's AI Projection has changed from the previous week in the quarter.
Gap to Quota: The delta between your Quota and Clari's AI Projection.
Forecast (i.e. Hard Commit): The primary forecast call pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse.
1 Wk Change: The amount that the forecast has changed from the previous week in the quarter.
Gap to Quota: The delta between your primary forecast call and your Quota.
Coverage: The ratio of your open pipeline as of the current week divided by your gap to quota.
Previous Quarter Pulse KPIs
Quota: The quota for last quarter pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse.
Closed Won:The total amount closed as won as of the last week of last quarter.
Gap to Quota: The delta between the total amount closed as won and the quota.
Week 10 AI Projection % of Actual: The percentage of the actual amount closed as won that Clari's AI Projection predicted in Week 10 of the quarter.
Week 10 Forecast % of Actual: The percentage of the actual amount closed as won that was forecasted in Week 10 of the quarter.
Start Pipeline: The total amount of open pipeline at the start of last quarter.
Coverage to Quota: Your Start Pipeline divided by your Quota.
Coverage to Closed: Your Start Pipeline divided by the total amount closed as won.
Next Quarter Pulse KPIs
Quota: The quota for next quarter pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse. You must have uploaded/entered a Quota for next quarter for this metric to display.
AI Projection: Clari's AI Projection for next quarter.
Gap to Quota: The delta between Clari's AI Projection for next quarter and your Quota. You must have uploaded/entered a Quota for next quarter for this metric to display.
Coverage: Your Total Pipeline divided by your Quota. You must have uploaded/entered a Quota for next quarter for this metric to display.
Suggested: Your suggested Coverage based on your historical conversion rates and Clari's AI.
Total Pipeline: The pipeline you have built set to close for next quarter as of the current week.
1 Wk Change: The amount your Total Pipeline has changed since last week.
Gap: The delta between your Total Pipeline and your Suggested Pipeline in Pulse.
Monthly Pulse KPIs
Current Month Pulse KPIs
- Quota: The monthly quota pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse.
- Closed Won: The total amount closed as won as of the current day in the month.
- Gap to Quota: The delta between your Quota and Closed Won amounts.
- AI Projection: Clari's AI Projection as of the current day in the month.
- 1 Day Change: The amount that Clari's AI Projection has changed from the previous day in the month.
- Gap to Quota: The delta between your Quota and Clari's AI Projection.
- Forecast (i.e. Hard Commit): The primary forecast call pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse.
- 1 Day Change: The amount that the forecast has changed from the previous day in the month.
- Gap to Quota: The delta between your primary forecast call and your Quota.
- Open Pipeline: The total amount of your remaining open pipeline set to close in the current month.
Last Month Pulse KPIs
- Quota: The quota for last month pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse.
- Closed Won:The total amount closed as won as of the last day of last month.
- Gap to Quota: The delta between the total amount closed as won and the quota.
- D X AI Projection % of Actual: The percentage of the actual amount closed as won that Clari's AI Projection predicted in day X of the month.
- Day X Forecast % of Actual: The percentage of the actual amount closed as won that was forecasted in day X of the month.
- Start Pipeline: The total amount of open pipeline at the start of last month.
- Coverage to Quota: Your Start Pipeline divided by your Quota.
- Coverage to Closed: Your Start Pipeline divided by the total amount closed as won.
Next Month Pulse KPIs
- Quota: The quota for next month pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse. You must have uploaded/entered a Quota for next month for this metric to display.
- AI Projection: Clari's AI Projection for next month.
- Gap to Quota: The delta between Clari's AI Projection for next month and your Quota. You must have uploaded/entered a Quota for next month for this metric to display.
- Coverage: Your Total Pipeline divided by your Quota. You must have uploaded/entered a Quota for next month for this metric to display.
- Suggested: Your suggested coverage for next month based on your historical conversion rates and Clari's AI.
- Total Pipeline: The pipeline you have built set to close for next month as of the current day.
- 1 Day Change: The amount your Total Pipeline has changed since yesterday.
- Gap: The delta between your Total Pipeline and your Suggested Pipeline in Pulse.
Yearly Pulse KPIs
Current Year Pulse KPIs
- Quota: The yearly quota pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse.
- Closed Won: The total amount closed as won as of the current month in the year.
- Gap to Quota: The delta between your Quota and Closed Won amounts.
- Forecast (i.e. Hard Commit): The primary forecast call pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse.
- 1 Month Change: The amount that the forecast has changed from the previous month in the year.
- Gap to Quota: The delta between your primary forecast call and your Quota.
- Open Pipeline: The total amount of your remaining open pipeline set to close in the current year.
Last Year Pulse KPIs
- Quota: The quota for last year pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse.
- Closed Won:The total amount closed as won as of the last day of the year.
- Gap to Quota: The delta between the total amount closed as won and the quota.
- Month X Forecast % of Actual: The percentage of the actual amount closed as won that was forecasted in month X of the year.
- Start Pipeline: The total amount of open pipeline at the start of last year.
- Coverage to Quota: Your Start Pipeline divided by your Quota.
- Coverage to Closed: Your Start Pipeline divided by the total amount closed as won.
Next Year Pulse KPIs
- Quota: The quota for next month pulled from the Overall Forecast selected in your Chart Settings in Pulse. You must have uploaded/entered a Quota for next month for this metric to display.
- Open Pipeline: The open pipeline you have built set to close next year as of the current day.
- Total Pipeline: The pipeline you have built set to close for next year as of the current day.
- 1 Month Change: The amount your Total Pipeline has changed since last month.
- Gap: The delta between your Total Pipeline and your Suggested Pipeline in Pulse.
