Can activity data be split between parent and child accounts?
When the parent and child accounts that you are interacting with have different contacts/different email domains in Salesforce, and/or when the parent account and child account(s) are owned by different users in Salesforce, then activities will be associated with the parent accounts or child account(s) automatically based on the external contacts and/or internal users associated with the activities.
Otherwise, when the Account Owner in Salesforce is the same person between the parent account and child account(s), and the contacts on the account in Salesforce are the same, then Clari does not have a means by which to separate activity between the parent account vs. the child account(s). there’s a field on the account for them to filter by (to say what’s a parent vs. a child account), then we can add a filter, but otherwise when the account owner is the same between parent and child account, and the contacts are the same/have the same domain, Clari has no way of making a distinction.
If you have a field on the account to differentiate parent accounts from child accounts, then Clari can add a filter to Account Engagement to allow you to view activity associated with the parent account vs. activity associated with the child account(s).
