Accessing Align from Clari
Your Align account is created automatically when you create your first mutual action plan (MAP) from the Clari Opportunity Grid Insights Panel.
Updating Profiles
Update profiles to give the buying and selling team easy access to contact information as well as a title and bio. You can also control notification preferences that you will receive from Align in your profile section.
For a detailed walkthrough on updating profiles please visit the Updating Profiles article.
Creating a MAP from a Template
Create a new MAP from the Clari opportunity Insights panel or from the Align home dashboard. When you create a MAP from Clari it will automatically sync up with your SalesForce opportunity to pull opportunity details and account contact information. When you create a MAP from the home dashboard select the New MAP button or visit https://align.clari.com/plan/create.
For a step-by-step guide on creating a MAP from a template please review our Create a MAP from a Template article.
Configure a MAP
The first step after creating a new MAP is to customize the template for your specific deal. While it’s a good idea to get started on your own, don’t forget to collaborate with the buyer, who may have a unique milestone that you should know about.
Visit the Configure a MAP article for more details on configuring your first MAP to be shared with your customer.
Share a MAP
Sharing puts the “M” in MAP. Customer Success and Sales can easily share access to MAPs and the Customer can do the same. There are 2 ways to share a MAP: Send an automated email and/or create a PDF version of the MAP to be shared as a document.
Visit the Share a MAP article for best practices and steps to share your MAP with a customer.
