Groove: Change Owner and People Management
Groove Change Owner and People Management establishes a single, comprehensive permission structure and consolidates all people management functions under a single permission.
Use Cases
-
Admins who want to bulk transfer flow or people ownership during employee departures.
-
Team Leads managing ownership within their teams for absences, reassignments, or performance reasons.
-
Orgs requiring a clear record of who makes people/ownership changes (for compliance/audit).
Admin Setup
"Manage people across flows" permission is enabled in Manage My Org for Admins and Team Leads by default; disabled by default for Analysts; and unavailable (always greyed out) for Standard Users. Admins and Analysts can modify/manage all flows if "View all Flows and Templates" is ON; when OFF, only those they own or are shared on are available to them:

Team Leads can manage flows owned or managed by their team when "View all Flows and Templates" is ON; when OFF, only flows their team owns or are shared on are available to them.
Standard Users have limited self-management and cannot change ownership in any context.
User Flow
-
From the Flow People tab, depending on the permissions selected, you will only see the Flows and people visible for your role and permission flags.
-
Select one or more people in a visible Flow.
-
Choose an available management action (like Change Owner); if not permitted, the button is greyed out.

4. To change the owner, select from the list of names in the dropdown.
5. Confirm the change in the confirmation modal.
6. After completion, a message confirms the result; for partial/bulk failures, you will see errors depending on which actions were completed successfully or failed.
