Assign Templates to a Node in Your Hierarchy
When enterprise organizations set up Align, they often want to use different templates for different teams. For a team of 1,500 sellers, there can easily be 40 templates or more created.
Org Admins can organize templates according to the Clari hierarchy. For example, the eastern team will only see the 3 templates that the eastern team needs — not templates for all the other teams. This helps admins keep templates organized, and reps streamline the decision-making when choosing a template for end users.
Use Cases
- Admin: You want to create 40 templates for 10 teams and organize them according to the teams and managers in the hierarchy because different teams have different sales cycles and process.
- Rep: You can easily decide on which template you need because the only templates you see are the ones relevant to your team that your manager created for you, or the private templates you created.

Click Create Template.

Select the visibility you desire for the template: Private, Everyone, or a specific team under a node in the hierarchy (this is the same as your Clari hierarchy).

To select a specific team, type in the team name in the dropdown or review the drop-down to find the right team in the hierarchy.

For existing templates, go to Edit Details to update the visibility of the templates
A Note on Private Templates: Admins can update the visibility of team templates or their own private templates. To update the visibility of another person’s private template, duplicate the template and adjust the visibility of the copy accordingly (this is done so the current owner can retain their own private template without impact).
Reps will only see the templates that are assigned to them.
