Field Name

Shows the name of the column

Field ID

Unique ID for the field. Within each tab, each field will need its field ID to be unique

Field Type

Displays 1 of the 5 field types (quota, forecast entry, readonly, reference/reference hidden, or calculation. To learn more about types of fields, review our article on Forecast Building Blocks.

Description

Filter query description that appears when you hover over the ℹ️ bubble in the right hand panel

Period

Time period for the field (ie. Quarter, Monthly, or Year). Note: Year is only supported for quota and readonly field types

Data Format

Shows the data format (ie. Currency, Multiplier, or Percent)

Calculate Gap

Shows the gap calculation and which type is used. 

Attainment Name

For quota fields only: this will show the display name for the attainment column

Gap Name

This will display the name of the gap column

Reference a Quota

Shows which quota is associated to this field

Primary Forecast Entry Field

Will show if this is the primary call field. This will allow the historical forecast entries within Pulse and Trend to be visible. Also controls which forecast call will be displayed within the Forecasting widget. Note: if this is true the “quota reference” line will need to be populated with the relevant quota

Set up as a composite of other fields

Shows if this is a composite forecast field

Component Field Aggregation

Related to the Composite field, it will show the fields used in the composite aggregation

Allow Editing

Related to the Composite field, it will show if the composite aggregation can / cannot be edited

Excluded User Types

Shows you which user types are excluded from seeing this field

Mode configured for this field

Aggregation Field

Displays the rollup field

Sort Field

Displays the field used to sort the opportunities in the right-hand panel

Group By Field

Displays the field used to group the opportunities

Reference Tab

For reference columns only: will show the tab the reference field is coming from

Reference Field

For reference columns only: will show the field being referenced

Hide Field

For reference columns only: will show if the field is hidden or not from the UI

Edit Mode

For quota fields only: this will show the edit level - Admin Edit (only Admins can edit), User Edit (any user can edit), Read-Only (update should fail, and can only be done by .csv upload)

Associated Field

For Calculation fields only: this will show which field this is linked to. If this section is populated, in the UI it’ll “group” the fields together for better aesthetics

Show Calculation Params

For Calculation fields only: this will show you if the numerator value for the formula is shown within the field

Query

For Calculation fields only: this will show you the formula setup (ie. X + Y / Z)
