Forecast Management Overview
Overview
Forecast Management Edits gives Clari Admins the ability to edit Field Settings, Formula Settings, and Tab Settings in their existing Forecast Configuration. For example, you can change a Forecast field name, without having to put in a configuration change ticket.
Clari Admins will be able to make edits and changes to their Forecast configuration — and see current configurations for fields you cannot edit with Read-Only Mode.
Let's take a look at the edits currently available for Admin to make in Forecast Management.
Note: Any change in Forecast Management is instantaneous. If you make changes in Forecast Management today, your changes will immediately change in your Forecast instance.

You can edit the associated field by selecting an available field from the picklist. If you associate a field with another field or change a field’s associate field, the order of the fields will change in the UI and in the list of fields in the sidebar.
Note: If the value is none, that means there are no fields available to be associated based on the current configuration (i.e., there are no other fields in the tab).

Edit Field Description
You can edit the field's description:

And that edited description will show up in a tooltip:

Reorder Tabs
You can reorder the tabs for any Forecast module that has more than 1 tab.
- Select a field and send it to the top or bottom
- Select a field and move it right below another field
- You can also reset your tab order to the order it was when they first opened the feature. (You cannot reorder to a previous configuration that you made — only to the default order).
You will get a green toast message if the change is successful and a red toast message if it is not successful.
How to reorder tabs:
When you enter Forecast Management from Clari Studio, you'll automatically be inside the settings for your first tab. From here, you can reorder tabs.
- Select Action in top right > Reorder Tabs. The Reorder Tabs popup will open.
- Use
to the left of each tab name to drag and drop your tabs in the order you like and click Save. - There's also a search bar at the top of the Reorder Tabs popup if you want to search for a tab by name

Note: To change the display format to Multiplier or Percent, you must first associate a field via Edit Associated Fields.
You can edit the display format of Read-Only fields to an:
Aggregation of Deal Size (e.g. 12,345 or $12,345).Multiplier (e.g. 1.2X)Percent (e.g. 12%)
You can only edit the Coverage Formula if you have selected a Display Format Multiplier (e.g. 1.2X) or Percent (e.g. 12%).
You can edit the coverage formula for Read-Only Fields. You can select:
Coverage / Quota Coverage / (Quota - Closed)

View Read-Only Configuration
If a field is not editable, either because you have a configuration setting that does not allow you to edit (e.g., Edit Coverage Formula), or because the field is not editable, then you will see the configuration for supported fields (e.g. Field ID).
Here's an example of Read-Only fields in Forecast Management Editing:

How To Edit Formula Settings
Edit Aggregation Field
You can change the field that is aggregated by picking another value in the available set of fields. This determines how the Opportunity totals are calculated in Forecast right side panel.
-
If no specific values are defined in the aggregate section, then it will automatically total up 100% of the returned opportunities
-
The picklist of fields is editable via Field Configuration
Here's an example of picklist fields available:

Edit Sort Field
You can select and sort the opportunities that are present in that field’s right-side panel. The picklist of values comes from amount fields that are filterable in Field Configuration.
In the example below, the user has 3 values configured to filterable in Field Configuration, so those are the 3 fields they can sort here:
