The Clari Forecast MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets your revenue team query live Clari forecast data conversationally through AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT — without leaving the tools they already work in. As an admin, you control whether this capability is available to your organization. Use this guide to enable the Clari Forecast MCP for your team.
After completing this guide, you will be able to:
- Enable the Clari Forecast MCP from Clari Studio.
- Make live forecast data available to your team through AI assistants.
- Direct users to connect their preferred AI assistant to Clari.

Before starting, make sure you have the following:
- Account access: An active Clari account with admin permissions
- Licensing: The Clari Forecast MCP must be included in your organization's Clari package. Contact your Clari account team to confirm availability.
- Active forecast tab opt-ins: Users must have at least one opted-in forecast tab for any forecast query to return data after setup.
- Navigate to Clari Studio: Log into Clari and go to Studio.
- Open Integrations: Select Integrations from the menu.
- Go to AI Settings: Click AI Settings within the Integrations section.
- Enable MCP: Locate the MCP toggle and click it to enable the Clari Forecast MCP for your organization.
- When the toggle is on, the Clari Forecast MCP is enabled and users can connect their AI assistants.
- When the toggle is off, the Clari Forecast MCP is disabled and unavailable to your team.
- Direct users to connect: Once enabled, share the appropriate setup guide with your team based on their preferred AI assistant:
You've successfully enabled the Clari Forecast MCP when:
- The MCP toggle in Clari Studio > Integrations > AI Settings is blue/on
- Users can see and complete the Clari connector authorization flow in their AI assistant
- Permissions are scoped automatically: Users can only query forecast data within their existing Clari permissions and hierarchy — enabling MCP does not expand or change what data individual users can access.
- One forecast tab per query: The MCP returns data scoped to one forecast tab per call. Cross-tab rollups require multiple queries composed by the AI assistant.
- Orgs without forecast tab opt-ins: If users have no opted-in forecast tabs, forecast queries will not return data. Ensure your team's forecast tabs are configured before enabling.
