Capture Sync Error Management
Overview
What are Sync errors?
These are records for which Capture found an account or opportunity match and attempted to write to Salesforce. But the write-back process didn't succeed for some technical reasons. The reasons could be varied by certain rules and validations on your Salesforce instance, parallel workflows, field integrity issues, etc. The records continue to be "stuck" until resolved. Many times, the records that are reported as "missed" by customers in SFDC are stuck!
With the help of the Sync Error Management module, you can quickly understand the syncing errors and re-sync the errored-out records back to Salesforce.
How to view and attempt to re-sync Syncing Errors
From the Capture Grid > Activity Logging:
- Click View Errors near the top right under SYNCING ERRORS:

2. Select the Date Range.
Then, on the left panel, you'll see the list of different Error Codes along with the number of records that have thrown that error code. By default, you will see the Error Code with the highest number of records.
When you click on a specific error code, you can check the meaning of the error code along with the Troubleshooting Tips (center of image below)— which are potential steps to solve this error code. From there, perform Troubleshooting as suggested for each Error code.

3. Once you do the troubleshooting steps (mentioned above), Click on Proceed to Sync to initiate syncing of these records post-confirming on the confirmation pop-up.

4. Once you Sync, you'll see the Errors you've Queued for re-sync, like this:
