In Field Config we have cell highlighting options, what do these options do and what configuration selections can I make?

As shown below there are 2 cell highlighting options and 2 ordering options:

The highlighting options are described as:

Basic Cell highlighting show red or green for a history tracked field that meets the ordering criteria. Where a history tracked field advances according to the selected order the cell will display as green when the same field regresses it will display as red. If the field is not history tracked then the highlight will be blue.

When Dynamic Cell highlighting is selected then Clari will use the order of the field progression/regression as defined in Salesforce, which may appear differently to the display of the same values in picklists, etc., in Clari.

Typically when you have a history-tracked field, the difference between basic vs. dynamic highlight is based upon use case, i.e. if the values in the field represent a progression through the sales cycle, the dynamic highlight probably makes sense, but if you just want to know if a field has been updated at all within a certain time period, then basic is probably fine.

What must be considered is that the values change based on the time period set, and also the dynamic highlight will only show green or red if Claris can discern if there is progression/regression in the selected field.
