What is API Access Control?
API Access Control is a Salesforce feature that allows admins to restrict API access for unauthorized applications and users. This feature is not enabled by default today.
What changed?
Salesforce has introduced new restrictions on connected app usage. This change allows Salesforce admins to control what apps can access their salesforce environment via APIs and configure Permitted Users, IP Relaxation, Session Policies (timeouts for access token), Refresh Token Policy, etc.
We have verified that Clari falls into this category. If you have API Access Control enabled, then you must ensure that the Clari OAuth app is installed and configured in your Salesforce instance appropriately
What do Clari Customers need to do?
Existing Clari customers can find the Clari connected app in your “Connected APP OAuth Usage” settings in Salesforce. You may see the following app names listed depending on your product(s):
Clari Web Prod(Web)
ClariusApp(Mobile)
Clari Copilot
Groove
Install the app(s) and configure policies for the Clari app according to your organization's preferences. You may choose to allow all users or enable certain profiles for granting API access for Clari.
