How to download or share a call recording

You can download a call recording as a video, just the audio track, or the transcript. You can also share an entire recording or a snippet with anyone directly from within Copilot. The ability to download and share comes down to the permissions provided to you by your Account admin.

Download a call recording

1. Open the relevant call recording in Copilot.

2. Look for the Download button on the top-right.

3. Click Download Audio for just the audio track.

4. Click Download Video for the full video file.

5. You can also download the transcript.

Share a call recording

From the call you want to share, click the Share icon at the top right. 

1. Share a call recording with a link.

2. Share a call recording with an embed code.

3. Share a call recording directly to the Align Call Library.

Share a call recording with a link

When you click the Share button, you'll see a window with various sharing options. The toggle to Make Link Active. You will also see more options as part of the share call window, including:

• Ask viewer's email for access to the call recording
• Send alert on external views
• Protect this link with a password
• Allow viewers to access transcript
• Allow viewers to access Summaries and Chapters

1. Share the entire call by copying the link.

2. Click Trim and Share to share only a specific portion of the call.

   • Adjust the sliders on either end to trim the call and create a snippet.

   • Give your snippet a title.

   • Click

   • Next to generate a link for your shared recording to share via Slack/email.

3. You can also select a specific portion of the transcript, drag to select the amount of the call you want to share, and then use the share call window to snip and share that portion only.

Options when sharing with a link:

• Ask for viewer's email for access to the call recording.

• Receive an alert when your call recording is viewed on Slack/Email

Share a call recording with an embed code

1. In the Call Review page, click the
   Share button.

2. Click Copy Embed to copy the embed code.

3. In the application where you want to embed the video (i.e., Highspot), paste the copied code into the designated area.

Note: Clari's Highspot integration will allow Highspot to fetch metadata (i.e. title) from the URL in the embed code automatically.

Share a call recording with an embed code

1. In the Call Review page, click the Share button.
2. Click Copy to copy the embed code.
3. In the application where you want to embed the video (i.e. Highspot), paste the copied code into the designated area.

Note: Clari's Highspot integration will allow Highspot to fetch metadata (i.e. title) from the URL in the embed code automatically.

Alternatively, click Trim and Share to share only a specific portion of the call with an embed code.

• Adjust the sliders on either ends to trim the call and create a snippet.
• You will also have the option to set the snipped call share link to expire in 30 days
• Give your snippet a title.
• Click Next to generate an embed code to copy and paste into your third-party application.

Share snippets from a call

1. On the Call Review page, scroll through the transcript to select the relevant snippet.

2. Click on the Share button that pops up.

3. Copy the link for your call snippet and share via Slack/email or however else you want.

Adjust the Share settings:

Manage Shared Links

You can control the links shared and decide to disable them as required by clicking on Shared Links. Review the call links shared and then decide if you want to disable that specific shared call link.

For shared call links that are active, you can also see the number of views and who viewed it, provided you have checked the box to ask for email when trying to view the shared call link.

Share a call recording from Copilot's mobile app

1. Go to any call.

2. Click Share.
