How to manage Copilot's real-time cues during screen sharing
Here is a quick and easy guide to managing Copilot's real-time cues and alerts while screen sharing on a video call.
If you're using Copilot on a Windows computer
If you're using Copilot on a Mac computer
-
Share the window you need to, instead of sharing your entire desktop. Only you will be able to see the cues.
-
If you share your entire desktop, the cues may be visible due to recent changes in the underlying architecture of the provider. Clari is actively working on restricting visibility when the entire desktop is shared on MAC OS.
How to filter out the Copilot desktop app during Zoom screen sharing
Go to your Zoom Settings > Screenshare
From the Screen capture mode dropdown, select "Advanced capture with window filtering."

In short, the best practice is to share only the window you need to during a video call. Alternatively, in case of the cues being visible, you can disable them during screen sharing for that particular call. Copilot will still record your call.
